The gates were rattling last night!

Yesterday May 7, 2015 was the National Day of Prayer. I gathered in unity with other churches in my region (in unity there is a commanded blessing –

Psalm 133:1-3 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment poured on the head, that ran down on the beard, even the beard of Aaron the first high priest, that came down upon the collar and skirts of his garments consecrating the whole body. It is like the dew of lofty Mount Hermon and the dew that comes on the hills of Zion; for there the Lord has commanded the blessing, even life forevermore upon the high and the lowly.

We came together to pray for our nation and worship Almighty God. The worship was powerful and intense, it was a releasing of the sound of heaven. (See below: video from Ray Hughes teaching on the sound of heaven)

Durring a time of free praise, when we all lift up our own song to heaven, I heard a very loud sound of shaking of the gates of Heaven. The sound was so loud I had to cover my ears. I saw heaven’s gates shaking at the glory and presence of Almighty God. I saw a large foot step over the gates and come down and plant itself on top of the United States of America. God said, THIS LAND IS MINE! And it is time for my people to arise and claim this as God’s Land!

It was no accident that President Obama and his cabinet were meeting in my region Portland, OR on the same day I heard this sound. Our gathering was 20 minutes from where our Government Officials were meeting. We prayed that their eyes would be opened to see the Father and know truth. We repented on behalf of our land and declared healing for our country.

Our prayers of faith along with a million + others yesterday from other states and countries wround the world will not be in vain. God’s words will never return void but they will accomplish what they are set out to do. (Isaiah 55:11)

We will not shrink back in fear, we will not grow weary, we will align our hearts and faith in prayer and cry our for mercy, protection, justice, revelation and most of all salvation for the USA!

While I heard the shaking I also heard a booming voice quote Psalms 24:

(Picture of Heaven painted by Akiane Kramarik), I just added the verse. That I heard with the picture.

Wait for the Lord

A week of heartbreaking news for many loved ones makes this verse Ring in my soul. God is our hope, our sure foundation. When we are seated in heavenly places with the King of Kings our focus in life must be from God’s perspective down. When we see life through His eyes- THERE IS HOPE. Let the Prince of Peace fill you with His Comfort, Hope and Joy today!

IMPACT

What impact can we make in the lives of others?

By spending time with Papa God His fragrance mixed with a heart of love and obedience will impact more unintentionally than intentional actions done without the presence and love of God.

The Temples destroyed – God reveal your glory

My heart is breaking for the families in Nepal who have lost friends and loved ones.  Back in 1994 at our TCHS CAN-AM convention I saw visions of the picture you see below begin to happen all over the earth. I saw temples from false religions being destroyed and kicked down. The visions were so clear. After the visions I looked around and I saw my friends faces and they were shining. I kept on saying in shock, “Your face is shining, your face is shining” the glory of the Lord was shining on their faces just like will be happening all around the world to God’s people.

In the times of these disasters I am praying that the glory of the Lord shines from his people, that signs and wonders would break out everywhere. That his love and hope would saturate every fear. SHINE JESUS SHINE FILL THIS WORLD WITH YOUR GRACE AND MERCY –

this is the article I found the picture on.

My cousins lived over there for years ministering to the abused, outcast and unreached people groups. They have been in the states for quite a few months now, but I know they have many close friends over there still. Praying for peace and comfort for them.

Smiling in the outside -Crying on the inside

My heart has been so burdened for the broken-hearted. I have been praying that God will lift you up and draw you into His arms. In His arms of Love is the most comforting and safe place to be. I hope this picture and scripture stays in your heart today as a reminder that we have Hope!

Psalm 3:3-6 “But you, Lord, are a shield around me,my glory, the One who lifts my head high. I call out to the Lord, and he answers me from his holy mountain. I lie down and sleep;I wake again, because the Lord sustains me. I will not fear though tens of thousands assail me on every side. ”

Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Zephaniah 3:17

“The LORD your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”

1 Corinthians 2:9

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Revelation 21:4

“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

Psalms 23: 4,6

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. … Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”

2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

And you thought you knew His will for you?

If they would’ve told us 15, 16, 17 years ago as Tim  and I were sitting at Portland Bible College that we would be running a specialty wood & custom furniture business, we would have laughed them all the way back to China. God has an amazing sense of humor. So all you Bible College students out there,do not despise the process or the opportunities God brings across your path. Sometimes you may feel like throwing them out the window because you may think that the only way to serve God is to go into “the ministry” and be on staff at a church, like that is your highest aspiration. THINK AGAIN!! God uses even the job you get “in the world” to open up doors you never thought would open or that you would even be walking through. The tricky thing is keeping your focus on God’s face and not his hand. When you keep looking steadily at his eyes, listening to his voice and moving with his heartbeat you wont make a mistake.

At PBC Glenda Malmin, my first mentor, would look at me in class and chapel and say “Stir it up!” And motion it with her hands. This has never left me. (Thanks Glenda) Because I have had to make sure that whatever season I was in, (working at CBC, Bible College, Mom with a newborn, Mom with three kids and running a business while working with Children’s ministry and Family Life at Destiny Christian Fellowship) I kept stirring the Gifts that were within me. Every season has its difficulties and challenges. We have to make sure even in the hard seasons we are doing everything we can to find fulfillment in God’s will. If we fight it we will miss out on the joys that God brings to us every day.

And I tell you what, “being in the ministry” has a completely different look and definition that I thought in Bible College. Ministry is every day being obedient to what God is leading you to do. If you are not on paid staff, than praise the Lord! That means you get to work a job and bless the Lords house with your tithes and offerings while pouring your life out to all those you have the chance to minister to inside and outside if the church.

God is faithful to fulfill the desires of your heart because many times HE put them there. My friend and mentor Helene Spacek reminded me on Sunday of a word she had for me a few months ago, “Dream with your eyes wide open”. This time she addded that at just the SCENT of rain God will cause a shoot to come out of what we thought was dead. She said she saw one of our custom tables with a new green shoot coming out of it. (Aaron’s Rod) It meant the world to me. God’s method, path and timing do not belong to us. We don’t understand it when it’s happening. But take a second to look back and remember all the times he had been faithful and the little doors he opened to get you to this point. GOD WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU OR FORSAKE YOU OR THE DREAMS IN YOUR HEART. Dont stop dreaming! Seek His Face!! His plans WILL be fulfilled through your life, if you surrender it to him. There is nothing more fulfilling in this life than walking in HIS will.

Mom’s you are not a holiday failure

God told me to send this out to every mom out there feels like she doesn’t do it good enough for your kids. I know I am not a mom who is good at all of the creative extra detail things when I comes to holidays. This last weekend the enemy kept on trying to heap on condemnation and guilt that I’m a horrible mom because I don’t do all the creative and fancy holiday extras that other moms and grandmas to do.

But this picture below solidifies what God is trying to tell me. I’m speaking this to all of you moms and grandmas out there who feel a heavyweight of “I’m not good enough”. That is a lie from the pit of hell, ask forgiveness for believing that lie and asked Holy Spirit what the truth is. I know I am.

There is a massive firey Title-Wave Coming

A massive title wave is coming, one like I have never seen before. I have seen it building up along the Pacific coast not a typical Tsunami wave but a wave that is twisting and churning and almost like a volcano bright shooting up and spouting off this liquid-fire-water. This wave got bigger and bigger thousands of feet tall, and brighter and brighter and turned and twirled around and spit out bursts of fire-water. It got bigger and bigger and bigger on the coast and then begin to spread starting along the Pacific coast line and across the whole United States.

As it spread it began to not obliterate what it touched but went inside of every home and every church purifying with water-fire the hearts of those in it. After it’s settled, there was like a ring of fire outlining the United States. With pockets of burning places throughout the country.

Those who refused the purifying left the house and the church. The feeling while looking at this huge Tsunami wave before it crashed on the shore was not a feeling of fear but only curiosity and anticipation. There is no fear in love. The purifying fire of a holy God is 100% love. He does not do it out of hatred but out of love. The character of God never changes. Love is of God and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God, he who does not know God does not know love for God is love.

As our ears begin to hear prophetic words by great men and women of God, it is

essentially important that our hearts understand the love of God even when that love is bringing refinement. To some it will seem like a purifying to another who are not filled with the love of God, they will see it as hatred and prejudice.

I cannot tell what the physical aspects of this wave will look like or be. I only know it is going to cause a great purifying of the body of Christ. I have no fear just excitement.

Faith and a tribute

I shared this verse with my friend Diane Callahan last year when a group of friends gathered to declare life into her cancer afflicted body. Then a few weeks ago the group gathered one last time to pray over her. The last thing I heard her say on this Earth was quoting this verse to the group. It was so precious.

She quoted scripture daily over herself from cards she had written. A woman of faith who declared healing to her body till her last few days. Even though she didn’t receive the full manifestation of her healing till heaven, her example of faith has impacted our church and her friends forever.

We will never take a step back in our belief that God can and will heal. We are going to see an outpouring of the miraculous like we have never seen before. My dad and pastor Joel Hjertstedt stood up at the pulpit yesterday declaring the words of Winston Churchhill, “Never Give Up, Never GIVE UP, NEVER GIVE UP!!”

It was the first Sunday after our associate pastor’s wife Diane went to heaven. He was exhorting the congregation that our faith will not waiver and we will push forward believing to see a cancer free zone over city. We will not settle for anything less. I believe that we will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Wow! The presence of God is so intense at Destiny Christian Fellowship. Pastor Joel Hjertstedt preaching a word we all need to hear. Faith and a Tribute to Diane Domenighini Callahan
Psalm 34:17-18 Godly people cry out, and the Lord hears them.He saves them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to those whose hearts have been broken. He saves those whose spirits have been crushed.

I am a citizen of heaven

Yesterday I had the privilege of being with 19 First graders who were quoting this verse over and over for about 10 minutes. What a prophetic time as a very close friend stepped into heaven after midnight, finally receiving the full manifestation of her healing from cancer. Diane Callahan never doubted for a second that her Lord Jesus Christ was her healer and now she has received entrance into the presence of her Papa God.

My heart rejoices with the fact that she is finally seeing face to face the one she has held on to so tightly her whole life. I saw her swinging at the angel of death so many times in the last few years but despite every prayer and verse there are times we just dont understand why, but that didnt change Diane’s faith. She believed till the very end that Jesus could heal her. This shouldnt weaken our faith only strengthen it. She was a powerful example of unwavering faith and in my opinion every time I read Hebrews 11, i will add her name to the list of the Heroes of faith. Heaven has gained a legend!
