Asbury University Visitation beautiful display of 2 Chronicles 7:14

From the beginning, what has taken place at #Asbury has started in Humility. “If my people will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and Turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven I’ll forgive their sins and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

What happened in Asbury took place in a prayer room then led to a chapel service. A hunger in the students that led to the Holy Spirit bringing conviction to sins, public repentance and a heart for worship that has not stopped. These are the earmarks of what I have heard and I’ve had a good friend there in person to confirm.

The fact that they’re are no special/famous speakers or flashy worship is not a condemnation against those things. What the faculty and students have said is that there are no celebrities here except Jesus! Jesus is King! That is something we don’t expect to hear and see going into a service where the Holy Spirit is moving. This non-stop worship service is, in some circles reserved, but it’s not just worship that is drawing people. It is the hunger. Revival starts with hunger. There’s a hunger to seek the Lord. Those who come are sitting on a wooden bench for hours with no words on the screen of the songs, and no agenda. They are coming to experience the presence of God that they might not have ever felt before.

There’s transformation happening in that room in the hearts of people. Having students lead from the platform without worship lists, leading with a heart of love and Desire to be with Jesus. I think we can get so wrapped up in words of Revival or Movement or Awakening. Without a doubt this last week has been one that has shown America we want Jesus here! We want His presence we want to feel his love. It shows America there are Christians that are hungry for more than what we have been experiencing.

🔥Revival starts with hunger and is sustained by humility. HUMILITY is the Hallmark of what we are witnessing at Asbury. The fact that they don’t recognize or acknowledge many famous pastors and leaders who have sat in the congregation is commendable. Heaven won’t be doing that either. All of our eyes and focus will be on God. That in no way says that famous leaders are doing something wrong by fulfilling God’s call on their life. They are just having a service and overlooking the title and position of other ministers, allowing God to be the focus.

It’s wonderful that the worship songs that are being sung are those that might be older so people know it and don’t need words on the screen. Sometimes it’s hard to go to a service and all the songs that are sung are super complicated and long and hard to remember. It doesn’t matter the songs that are sung, it matters the heart of Purity they are sung with. The Lord is enthroned on the Praises of his people! He is being enthroned around the world in a fresh way as people everywhere are tuning in to live streams. What a beautiful time of refreshing when the body of Christ comes together in unity in one place. Where there is Unity there is a commanded Blessing.
Last night in their service they said don’t just come here and get fat and keep it all yourselves. You need to take what you received here and go out and spread it to the city in your community. They want what God has done in that place to impact our nation. That is where transformation starts to take place, outside of the walls.

Let’s lift up our voices and allow our hearts to join with thousands around the world who are humbly pray seeking God’s face, repenting and turning from our wicked ways. God come heal our land!

Will You Agree Together With Me? Let’s Pray:

God move across our country with a level of hunger as well as a passion for righteousness and a life lived in holy reverence and worship to God. Let all the secret sins that so easily ensnare us to be revealed by the Holy spirit, conviction to come and true repentance which is turning and walking the opposite direction.

Let there be a generation of men who rise up and say, I will not allow my eyes to look at porn, I will love my wife and concecrate myself to her as Christ loved the church and laid His life down for it. Let there be father’s to teach their children the love of Father God and the truth of the word of God. Let a generation of mother’s Arise who interceded over her husband and children till the destiny that God ordained before the foundation of the world is released through them. Let these women not be afraid to pursue God with abandonment even if their husbands think they are too passionate for God.

Let there be a generation of children who know there is No Jr. Holy Spirit. That they can approach the throne of God with boldness in prayer and worship and lay hands on the sick and see them healed. Let a generation of youth Arise who say they are drawing a line in the sand and stepping into the call of God on their lives with abandonment.

Let all those not married be like Paul and Live every moment of their lives sold out to help see Heaven invade Earth in every mountain of influence they are apart of.

Jesus, Let your Kingdom come on Earth as it is in Heaven. Here we are Lord, Send us! Release your Holy Spirit in a new measure. Let every well of Revival around the USA be unplugged, dig it out and drill even deeper so a well that will never run dry will be released over this land! Now is the time. Let the hunger burn. Let our churches experience a purging of fire and repentance from the top to the bottom. Let there be a freedom to worship with abandonment. Let there be a release of the gifts of the spirit.

Release the prophetic, release the apostles, release the evangelists, raise up a new generation of Pastor’s who will be willing to lay their lives down for the sheep and be willing to disciple and raise up new leaders. Raise up teachers who will teach the Meat of the word and not just hand out bottles of milk for the congregation to suck on. Let a burning passion for the word of God be birthed by teachers who reveal God ls truth and principles and how to apply them to our lives. Come Lord we need you!

Abandoned & Rejected? Jesus Understands

When the enemy comes and reminds you in detail of your rejection, betrayal and abandonment…it’s a way to ruin a good day. When that happened to me, I started to look up verses on how Jesus understands what rejection and betrayal feels like! The Bible & Prayer alone breaks the power of the enemy to spiral thoughts and emotions out of control.

There is Power in applying the truth of the word of God! I’m so thankful we don’t have to walk this life alone. Here are some truths found from my short study. 💡

Isaiah 53:3
He was despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and pain and acquainted with grief; And like One from whom men hide their faces He was despised, and we did not appreciate His worth or esteem Him.

Mark 14:10-11
10Then Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve [disciples], went to the chief priests to betray Jesus to them. 11When they heard this they were delighted, and promised to give him money. And he began looking for an opportune time to betray Jesus.

Mark 14:66-72 Amplified version
While Peter was down below in the courtyard, one of the servant-girls of the high priest came,
67and when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked intently at him and said, “You were with Jesus the Nazarene, too.”
68But he denied it, saying, “I neither know nor understand what you are talking about.” Then he went out [of the courtyard] to the porch, [q][and a rooster crowed.]
69The servant-girl saw him, and began once more to tell the bystanders, “This [man] is one of them.”
70But again he denied it. After a little while, the bystanders again said to Peter, “You are in fact one of them, for [it is clear from your accent, that] you are a Galilean, too.”
71But he began to [r]invoke a curse [on himself] and to swear [an oath], “I do not know this man you are talking about!”
72Immediately a rooster crowed the second time. And Peter remembered what Jesus said to him: “Before a rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times.” And thinking of this, he began weeping [in anguish].

😱In the Amplified Version it describes VS 71: In Judaism such a curse took the form of “May I always be afflicted if I am not being truthful,” or “May I bury my son if…,” or “May I never see the comfort of Zion and Jerusalem if…,” etc. (as found in the Talmud).

THAT IS A MASSIVE DENIAL FROM PETER when you hear it in that context! Jesus knew when he told Peter that he would deny him the level of that denial. Yet Jesus showed unconditional love to him. Absolutely shocking to realize what Jesus actually felt.

Mark 15:19-20
They kept beating Him on the head with a [c]reed and spitting on Him, and kneeling and bowing in [mock] homage to Him. 20After they had mocked Him, they took off the purple robe and put His own clothes on Him. And they led Him out [of the city] to crucify Him.

ALL OF THAT TO SAY THIS! ❤️Hebrews 4:15-16
For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are, yet without [committing any] sin.
❤️
16Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment].
❤️

JESUS GETS IT! HE UNDERSTANDS US. HE is the only one to heal and bind up our wounds. What a treasure of peace He brings.

🙏Let’s Pray🙏
Jesus, thank you for loving us through it All. Thank you for the sacrifice you made coming to Earth even though you knew what was going to happen to you. Thank you for taking our wounded hearts and putting them upon your own heart. Thank you Jesus that you have power over every attack of the enemy that will come against our mind, hearts and souls (our mind, will and emotions) . Thank you that anytime the enemy comes against us, like a flood you will lift up a standard against him. There is power in your blood so we can declare over our lives that every chain of bondage that the enemy wants to keep us in is broken in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare your peace over our minds and hearts. We declare your peace over our homes. We declare a sound mind. That perfect love destroys all fear. Thank you Jesus that there is nothing too difficult that we can walk through that you don’t understand. We acknowledge our dependence upon you. You are source for everything we need. In Jesus name amen!

How do you Measure Faith?

How do you measure faith? If it takes a mustard seed size faith to move a mountain (Matt 17:20), then how much faith to see someone healed?

Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.

Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].” Hebrews 11:1 Amplified

To me, Faith is trusting in the character of God beyond my own understanding.
When I pray for something and it does not happen, even praying with complete faith and trust, if I say this did not happen because I did not have enough faith, I put all the pressure and blame on myself.

That is exactly what the enemy wants to happen! When I don’t get what I pray for the enemy would want me to doubt my faith in God. As a result, the enemy’s goal would be for me to start doubting God is who He says He is and will do what He says He will do.

When I pray for something in faith believing God’s will to be done above my own, something switches from me being responsible for the answer to leaving it in God’s hand and trusting HIM to have the answer in His timing.

When I pray, Father, Your Kingdom Come On Earth as it is in heaven, not my will be done but Yours be done (Matt 6:10). My focus shifts on Him and His kingdom which is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Rom 14:17). If I can have peace and joy while walking in righteousness (right standing in him) before Him, then I am experiencing the kingdom of God.
If I live in that mindset it puts my focus on Him for whatever happens in my life.

By praying this way, I am focusing my attention on the Father, instead of my attention on the problem. If my trust and focus is on Him, not just relying on whatever size of faith I have, it begins to take my focus off of the issue. That begins to remove fear, doubt and disillusionment that can take place when you are surrounded by circumstances outside of your control.

Again, if I pray and think my faith will get me this answer, then my attention focuses on myself. I believe that is the opposite of what God intends for prayer.

I want my focus to be on the immense love of God, that he has me in the palm of his hands and whatever life and people throw at me I can rest in confidence in him. His character never changes his word never changes, his promises never fail.
Happy Monday!

The picture in this post was a gift from God last year. I took it right down the street from my house when Mount Hood had the most incredible lenticular clouds over the top. It’s a treasure.

Rip off those Grave Clothes, Hope to the Hopeless

Have you ever had one of those long seasons where fear, anger, grief and loss seem to drown out hope and make the promises of God seem like a mirage?
It may be in those seasons like the only thing to do is block out the world around you as much as you can and go on autopilot.
Then when you finally get to a place where you can relax and have peace you realize that all the relaxing in the world does not take the place of Jesus!

When decisions are made that are totally out of your control and you think that the promises God made will never come to pass. That is when we need to recognize the source of those thoughts, from the pit of hell. It is our responsibility to keep praying, keep trusting God, keep declaring His promises over you and your family. Over your children, their spouses, your grandchildren. Never stop crying out to God for His purposes to be done for His will to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

It’s time to shake off those grave clothes! I will never forget a sermon I heard years ago that talked about the grave clothes we walk around in. When Jesus called Lazarus out of the tomb, he told him to Take off those Grave clothes he was wearing. We can walk around with the heaviness that the enemy wants us to stay in but Jesus makes us free, whole and restored. We can asknowledge that the King of Kings and the Lord of Lord’s is still on the throne. He hasn’t stopped believing his promises so we can’t either.

Time to see that Jesus sits on the throne and he has given us the keys of sin and death. He has given us Authority to trample on the enemy. It’s time to get our fight back. It’s time to realize who is the head and who is the tail. We are MORE Than CONQUERORS through Him who loves us and has called us according to His purposes.

Even if we can’t change the choices that we can’t control around us, we can change our thoughts, heart, attitude and response to it. God give us all the strength and courage to see beyond the surface of the problems. Help us to remember that, you take what the enemy meant for evil and turn it for good. Give us your eyes to see with hope that we will see a victory. We will pray with faith and hold on to hope not fear. We align our faith with the word of God. We will silence the lies of the enemy by speaking the word of God to every twisted idea. Turn on the Worship misic and worship your heart out! We will declare the promises of God every day.

National Day Of Prayer for COVID-19 Coronavirus

Today I join with our President and millions of Christians around the USA on this #NationalDayOfPrayer.

I declare #Psalms91 over us. Jesus you said, If I will be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me.” Jesus, I lift you up over the United States, I lift you up over the world. Draw all men and women and children unto you. Stretch out your hand and eliminate #covid19 the #coronavirus. We declare healing for all infected.

The Bible says it is by your stripes Jesus that we have been healed! We declare healing over those who are sick today. Let your people arise with faith and begin to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. This goes for every sickness and every disease. Let us see miracles break out across the country as your people rise in faith for the impossible. The same Holy Spirit that was poured out in Acts NEVER LOST His Power! The Blood of Jesus Never lost its power. The same blood of Jesus that washes away our sins, heals our bodies. Thank you #Jesus for your sacrifice on the cross for us. We declare health and wholeness for every body!

We will not bow to the spirit of fear! We reject fear and receive faith! For the Lord has not given us a spirit of fear but of Power Love and a Sound Mind! Father release a sound mind over every #government official. Let them lead with wisdom. I pray for our President Donald #Trump and First Lady Melania, their family, Vice President Mike Pence and his wife and family. Protect them, give them wisdom and guide them in truth and love. Father your will be done, your kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven. Provide, protect and heal our nation and the nations of the world. For yours is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory Forever Amen!

Faith – Trust – Heaven – The true story of Dean Braxton, his journey to heaven after being dead 2 hrs.

Some people think, if you desire at end of your life to go to heaven, you are giving up the fight a faith. Not True! It is a very delicate balance of believing in faith for healing to the very very end and at the same time having complete trust in God if death takes place. The hardest part is not resenting God if a loved one does join him in heaven.

It is almost like being stiff-necked and stubborn in your faith and quickly trusting God if we do not see the result we want., it may be easy to give up your faith when things happen that we don’t understand, but if you are ever in that place there are millions around the world who understand what that feels like and there are people who can help support you in that time of grief.

3 years ago Dean Braxton came to Destiny Christian Fellowship to share his testimony of dying and coming back to life after visiting heaven. He is so humble and genuine. This was my first impression of what he said.

“Incredible message from Dean Braxton today. Totally changed my perspective on dying. He went in for kidney stones and the toxin exploded through his body and he was Dead for 1hr 45min.

What he experienced in dying and what he felt and experienced in heaven he compared Biblically as he spoke today. He talked about animals in heaven and that everything is alive, everything has intelligence and is aware and alive. In revelations it ever talks about a bird that flies around the throne giving praise to God. He said he can’t accurately describe what it is like because you just dont have earthly words to describe it other than Pure Love and a Peace that is indescribable.

He said that when a believer in Christ is dying their spirit leaves their body even before the body breaths its last breath. What remains is like a car running out of gas. There is such a quick transition but total peace because you are in the presence of Jesus. He said as he arrived Jesus was there with all his family members as well as generations of those in his family who went before him. He said that everyone and everything welcomed him and was happy to see him. All our attitudes go away just pure thoughts and feelings. Negative relational Issues from people on Earth are gone. THAT is something to look foreword to.

He said that Jesus told him he needed him more on Earth than in heaven right now, that he had a mission to fulfill. Dean kept on saying that we are here for such a short time and that in heaven there is NO death and decay. That every day we wake up we are here for a shorter amount of time. We need to take advantage of every day. Sharing with those we know that Heaven is real, Jesus is real and his love surpasses the wrong things we do in life. Nothing compares to knowing Christ and realizing that not only did he die for our spiritual death but our physical death. The pain of death does not touch the believer! What a gift Christ gave us. Oh, Death where is your sting. Oh, grave where is your victory. He has overcome and we get to live with Him for eternity. He is our treasure and our reward!

For the full testimony, here is Dean’s Book. I would encourage you to read and share it with others who might still fear dying. It is such an encouragement.

Why it is important to hear God’s voice for yourself

Reposted from August 2015

All of my life I have grown up in a prophetic culture where hearing a word from God from somebody else is the norm. I have gone to more conferences at a church than I can count. When you grow up constantly hearing words that God is telling someone else for your church, region, nation or world it is easy to put your own ears in the backseat.

Christians submerged in this culture have a tendancy to become lazy when it comes to activating their own ability to hear the voice of God. We tend to rely on others to give us the new “Heavy Revey“.

This is dangerous and sets you up to be malnourished in your own spiritual walk.

There are times in my life when I go through seasons of constantly listening to different pastors around the world, as well as, listening to online conferences. However, in the last couple years as I have entered in a different season of life with running our business, and I have not exposed myself to as much teaching/prophetic ministry as I have in the past. In one sense, I have missed out growing in certain areas of my spiritual walk. On the other hand, I have had to learn to tune my ears in to Gods voice and ask for discernment to understand what He is telling me and where He is guiding me.

I never want to get to the place in my life where all I am listening to are the revelations that God has given someone else. Because when that happens, I cut myself off from the life flow of the Spirit of God that He wants to pour in and through me.

Now you might say I don’t know how to hear the voice of God. He never speaks to me.

The good news is, that He does all the time we just need to learn to recognize it. This subject has been my heart’s cry since I was 12 years old. I would lay in bed at night crying out to God to hear His voice. I wanted to be like Solomon wanting wisdom and understanding. I wanted to hear his voice so clear.

When I was in Bible college I shared a word with a church in Klamath Falls entitled “Stop, Wait, and Listen.” Boy oh boy, do I wish the computer I used back then didn’t crash because I do not have my notes. The purpose of the message was to teach on how to begin to hear God’s voice.

The first thing we have to do is STOP. Many times when I’m in a church service or praying God will tell me to be quiet. When He says my name first, then tells me to be quiet it really gets my attention! Many times we talk and talk and talk and do not stop to give God a chance to speak to us. He comes to us in a still small voice. Like Elijah in the cave, God did not speak to him in the thunder or in the storm but in a still small voice.

If our voice is only thing we here, we will never hear HIS.

But next we need to WAIT. Now this is the hard part. We have to focus on HIM, our mind, heart, emotions and desires ALL FOCUSED ON HIM. There are a zillion distractions in our life and depending on your present circumstances waiting may feel like an impossibility. But this is where the majority of people who say they cannot hear Gods voice fail. They’re not willing to wait. In this waiting period, many times God begins to speak but we dismiss it on account of not realizing he is speaking.

Not everyone hears an audible voice, that would be a voice that everyone else around you can hear at the same time. Like when John the Baptist was baptizing Jesus and everyone around them heard God speak, “This is my son in whom I am well pleased.” That was an undeniable audible voice.

Some people hear a voice in their head or spirit, some may attribute it to being their conscience. But did you know, your conscience is the Holy Spirit – who is God. We think that our conscience is just “us”. We overlook the fact that God speaks to us all the time, we may not even know it and we don’t give Him the credit. So listen to that voice! He will always give you peace. He also will never contradict His written word.

Another way he speaks is through His Written Word – the Bible. You may be reading the Bible and a verse jumps out at you and you can’t get away from it. You reread it over and over and feel at the same time that a match was just lit in your heart. That is the Holy Spirit speaking through the word. Other times, you may be waiting on God and a verse goes through your mind. That is God speaking to you through his word. I would encourage you when that happens to look at that verse up and research the context of what it is saying.

Something else awesome that happens is when you receive a Bible passage in your mind to look up. You might hear the words Psalms 121. Then when you look up that passage it is exactly what you needed to hear. Sometimes I have heard passages like that and went to look them up and they meant nothing to me. But when I read down further it led me to exactly what I needed. Don’t get discouraged if that happens. Sometimes it will be right on and sometimes it will be off. I heard someone say not to take it too literally if it doesn’t work out correctly. Especially if you open up and read and “Judas went and hanged himself”. And especially if it says, “whatever you are going to do, do quickly”. Haha, be wise and have fun with it.

I have seen signs at a church recently that say “Meeting with God face-to-face, through His Word.” The first time I saw that title I got really excited because my experience of meeting God face-to-face has been with my face down in the carpet weeping while experiencing His intense presence & glory like nothing else, while seeing revelations in the spirit. But my experience is not something that you would typically find at the church I was at. It opened my eyes to the reason why we need every denomination in unity. Because every denomination has a piece of the puzzle that the other does not. The desire inside of me to experience God face-to-face in his word is growing more and more. It is definitely a paradigm shift for me to put those two phrases together, face-to-face – in his word. I long to be encountered by God through his word like I never have before.

It also important to discern when God is giving you a yellow light. A traffic light when yellow means caution. We need to make sure we know when we have a check in our spirit and God is telling us to stop or slow down.

The most important thing to do after he speaks is to LISTEN and put action to his words. Many times when he speaks it requires us to do something with what he says. If we doubt his words and never move forward with his instruction we will find ourselves stuck in a rut frustrated with life. He is always speaking, leading, guiding. If you feel stuck in a rut take some time to wait on the Lord and allow him to stir up the desires he has placed in your heart. But then ask, seek, knock and he will open doors before you that you never even dreamed possible.

I pray this blesses you and you’re able to share this with others who desire to hear Gods voice. – Rachelle Layzell

Here is a powerful song that reflects my hearts cry

I’m Listening by Chris McClarney

Why are these two pictures related for Christmas?

I LOVE the symbolism of my little nativity. Before JESUS CHRIST was crucified on the cross and the veil that separated all from the Holy of holies was torn on the temple, the Ark of the Covenant alone hosted the presence of God. Jesus became the FINAL blood atonement for our sins, and we are now priests unto God who can BOLDLY approach His throne of Grace and into His most holy presence. Christ alone is the mediator between God and man, no longer do we need a High Priest to go before God for our sins or to be the only one to witness His Glory, Power and Presence.

Why is this such a BIG DEAL? Before the veil was torn the only person who was able to go before the Glory of God & Ark of the Covenant which was behind the thick veil of the temple was the high priest, once a year. He would go into the holy of holies with a rope tied around his ankle that had a bell on it. They did that because if for some reason the priest was not purified himself and if he did anything wrong he could drop dead. The bell was to hear if the priest fell. The Rope was to pull the priest out without risking going into the Holy of Holies and drop dead themselves.

But NOW WE only need to come before Him with pure hearts and the shed blood Jesus. King David said, obedience is better than sacrifice. Our obedience is to God when we live according to His principles and truth. Now the law or Bible when read and taught is written on our hearts through the Holy Spirit.

Our OBEDIENCE  to His GUIDANCE  leads to His PEACE.

This Revelation hit me today smack between the eyes. Two nights ago I laid awake for hours praying about a situation with my son and crying out to God for wisdom and an answer. Yesterday God revealed a principle that I had been neglecting to walk in and how I related to my son. I asked God’s forgiveness and immediately started to change the way I was relating to my son. This morning when I woke up the peace and part of the answer that I was waiting for finally came. I began to hear God’s voice with the issue I was praying about. He told me today that because of my sacrifice and my obedience to him, He will now do His part. It doesn’t mean the situation is going to iron itself out quickly and be exactly the way I want it. But just the fact that I was able to finally hear His voice and receive His peace in the matter was astounding. All day yesterday I was wrestling with the feeling of not being able to hear clearly, I hate that feeling. It was like it was all cloudy and static between me and God. But in the meantime God was doing something in me that I had no idea was connected to the static and uneasiness.

God rewards our obedience no matter how small we think it might be. HE IS FAITHFUL! Now I learn to trust, listen to his voice and obey the simple instructions. The most comforting thought in the world for parent is to know that God loves our children even more than we do and he cares for their spiritual growth even more than we do.

I hope this blesses and encourages you like it has me. We are on the journey, but we are not alone.

“Inasmuch then as we [believers] have a great High Priest who has [already ascended and] passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession [of faith and cling tenaciously to our absolute trust in Him as Savior].
For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are, yet without [committing any] sin.
Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment].
Hebrews 4:14-16

Victory in your Testimony

Get ready for a massive wave of revival to sweep through this generation! God is doing something huge . Last night I had a dream that I was back in public high school school. I was in a large room of students during lunchtime and I began to share my testimony. It’s interesting because my testimony was as if I shared it right now as an adult. But the whole room became silent as I shared. I shared through lunch and then my teacher came in who would normally have whipped the class into shape and have me sit down but she didn’t she just stood there. After I was done sharing my testimony I asked who wanted prayer and 30 kids came eager to be prayed for. The school bell rang so I didn’t have a chance to pray for them and it was so painful to feel like I missed that chance as they had to walk to their other classes. I went up to my teacher and thanked her so much for allowing me to keep on sharing. She said she could not stop listening and thanked me.

The feeling of joy and exhilaration when I woke up is something I will never forget. I am praying today for all those in classroom settings that they will be bold and share their testimony of faith.

Romans 10:14-17 But how will people call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how will they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher messenger? And how will they preach unless they are commissioned and sent for that purpose? Just as it is written and forever remains written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!” But they did not all pay attention to the good news of salvation; for Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” So faith comes from hearing what is told, and what is heard comes by the preaching of the message concerning Christ.”

It doesn’t matter big or small nobody can argue with your own personal testimony. They might argue your theology but never your testimony.

One of my favorite songs when I was little was Be Bold! Be Strong! It truly has been my anthem.

🎼BE BOLD – BE STRONG- FOR THE LORD YOUR GOD IS WITH YOU. I wont be afraid, no no no, I won’t be dismayed, no no no. For I’m walking in Faith and Victory, Come on! Walkin in Faith and Victory. For the Lord your God is with You.

Why dont you run through the camp, tell all the people get ready, get ready. Why dont you run through the camp tell all the people get ready! 🎼

GET READY FOR THE CHANCE TO SHARE YOUR TESTIMONY

Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night.

11“And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.”

Revelations 12:10-11

Why it is important to tell your kids your personal testimony

God is so faithful to give us parents wisdom when we ask. While the enemy tries to bring in fear and doubt, the Spirit of the Lord raises up a standard against him when we pray! I was crying out to God today for wisdom after seeing little attitudes creep up I didnt like. I told my child Nothing in my life matters except that I know their relationship with Jesus will last their whole life. They saw my passion through my tears as I told them that My only concern is teaching them to follow after Him in purity and that their life would be full of the fruit of the spirit and love. None of us know how long we are in this planet and it is my #1 priority above all else that they know how important it is to make Godly decisions in all they do.
I decided to use my TESTIMONY, which is the spirit of prophecy, to let my child know I wasn’t always a perfect little girl. Without going into detail I was able to share how from 4-13 I lead a double life hiding sin and giving into temptation. I shared my struggles and the condemnation I would feel after repenting but going back to it. I shared how I walked with shame all those years and hid it not sharing with my parents. That it wasn’t till I was much older that I confessed to my youth pastor and my parents and was lead through steps of forgiveness. (In reality I wasn’t totally free till I went through a “SOZO” which some amazing trained counselor/prayer team took me through many layers of Jesus coming and revealing himself to me in my times of sin, where he was and how he loved me all the way through. I recommend it to anyone!) I told them they can always know we are here to talk to and they dont have to feel ashamed, especially now since they know I messed up also. Its time for us to be real with our kids, allowing them to have a safe place if they mess up. A place of healing and restoration to get on the right track. Jesus never turns His back on us, neither should we!
Our kids should always feel safe talking with us and if they dont we get to keep on gently tenderizing the ground in trust, wisdom, discernment and HAVING A HEART CONNECTION WITH OUR KIDS. If we feel the heart connection is widening it is time to STOP EVERYTHING AND GIVE THEM ALL OUR ATTENTION TILL THE CONNECTION IS TIGHT AGAIN. Lord, help us to know if and when this is happening and how to bridge the gap. Praying for you and your connections! God we want our kids to follow hard after you and never wander. Help us know how to parent wisely, not step into unexplained legalism, oh boy, but know how to explain in a clear and wise way why God isnt pleased with the things of the world and why we need to stay separate from it. Being set apart, as we learned on Sunday, holy and consecrated to God. That living a pure and holy, Godly life is NOT a bore! That living righteously brings FREEDOM, JOY and PEACE NOT FOUND ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. We are raising kids who are ushering in the Kingdom of Heaven, they will transform this world in ways we could only dream of. The same spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead LIVES IN THEM!! There is NO JR. HOLY SPIRIT. They are not going to have to wait till they are their parents age to experience all that God has for them it begins NOW!! HA, YES JESUS! I declare it, I declare it over my kids and all those who are reading this, their kids and grandkids! AMEN
