Paul had it right when he said, “Pressing FORWARD” because taking time to look back at regrets or failures stunts our growth and advancement. Self Pity and Self Doubt take place as we look behind us. God gives grace to the humble, however, the humble doesn’t mean we are weighed down and depressed, it means we acknowledge our dependence on God and our eyes are on Him as we walk in line with His precepts.
Trying to please everyone will never happen, but our Papa knows our heart and intensions. At the end of the day all of our works are dirty rags. (Isa 64:6) We are the clay and He is the Potter. We are formed by his hand. (Isa 64:8) It is easy to walk through life and never invest ourselves into others, but what fruit can take place if we keep all the seeds to ourself. “The one who plant and the one who waters work together for the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their hard work.” (1 Cor 3:8)Keeping love to ourself is plain selfish. We don’t pour our lives out to other’s for our own gain, if we do we will always be disappointed. Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it is not rude, always protects, always trusts, always hopes LOVE NEVER FAILS. (I Cor 13)
