The Angel in My Daughter’s Room

We experienced this picture the other night. Elicia gets asthma when she has a cold and this one really has hung on for a while. A couple nights ago she was coughing all night, finally I got up at 4am to check her breathing, she would take a breath and then cough. I set up the nebulizer, woke her up and sat with her to giver her a treatment. During the treatment in her dark room I saw the brightest light out of the corner of my eye. I thought was that what I thought it was? God spoke very clearly and said, “The Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear me. I have my eye on Elicia.” It wasn’t till last night when I was tucking Elicia in bed that she opened up and told me she didn’t want another bad dream like she did the night before. She said she dreamed that a burglar broke in to our house and came up to her bed and put a mask over her face so she couldn’t breathe. She said she could hear and feel her in her dream. Then I smiled and told her about the angel I saw in her room last night and what God told me about watching out for her. She smiled so big and I prayed for her again. No weapon formed against us shall prosper!

I love this song from Fred Hammond, “No Weapon”. It is a powerful reminder of God’s truth and promise of protection

Declaring Psalms 91 over our Schools

Driving my kids to school this morning I had an urgent burden to pray for protection around all of our schools in the United States. It is time for God’s people to be alert and aware, not in fear, but in courage and boldness. We need to lift up our voices and declare Psalms 91 over our schools. We declare a blood line around each and every school. The Blood of Jesus! No weapon formed against our children will prosper. All those who rise up against them shall fall. We declare every plot to be revealed and foiled, every assignment against our kids and teachers to be cancelled. Father God, release the angels of heaven to surround them, their going in and coming out. Verse 11 was my inspiration for the picture.

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,my God, in whom I trust.”

Surely he will save youfrom the fowler’s snareand from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.

A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.

You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you,no disaster will come near your tent.

For he will command his angels concerning youto guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands,so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”

He’s Got The Power

What do you need God to do for you today? Do you realize that HIS power and purposes are already at work inside of you? When you do not think God is doing anything for you, He is already doing 20,000 things in heaven on your behalf. You just may not see the evidence of that on earth, YET. Do not lose faith, the Lord of Hosts, God of angel armies is on your side!
(The picture behind the scripture is of the aurora borealis, a gorgeous display of the majesty of God on Earth.)
