Shake it off – Receive Your Freedom!

Something crazy awesome happened at Destiny Christian Fellowship today. The presence of God was so intense but in the physical you wouldn’t have been able to tell. There is something powerful that takes place when God’s people corporately shake off the burdens that they are not supposed to be carrying depression, weariness, fear and allow God to set them free!! It takes the act of doing something about it, not just sitting back and allowing ourselves to stay in the rut that we may be in.

This morning as I was exhorting the church, God had me ask them corporately to shake off what was consuming them and then shout the shout of victory and declare over their lives what they want freedom of. I’ll tell you what, that church was NOT the same group of people in the last worship song that they were for the beginning of worship. Heather gave a powerful word of when you are in a difficult season to put one foot in front of the other and not give up. Pressing on toward the prize.

Vicki, then shared the confirmation of the word and prophetic act I asked the church to do. It was exactly what Heather and the team were talking about back in Pre-Service prayer. What they were releasing and declaring before the service even started actually physically happened!! That is what happens when you attend a church that allows the Holy Spirit to have freedom to move and release the congregation to use the giftings God has given them. Those gifts did not end with the disciples! Hallelujah!

Then Doris nailed it when she said after communion that we are not taking a big enough bite. That we are satisfied with a trickle when God has a flood for us. Whoa!! That word totally confirmed what God had just told me during our examination time during communion, which by the way Josh Hjertstedt, was one of the most powerful communion services I can remember. The service was then finished by Pastor Ken Callahan’s incredible word that tied together every word shared and encouraged us how to walk in freedom.
Job 14:7-9 ‘At least there is hope for a tree:if it is cut down, it will sprout again,and its new shoots will not fail. Its roots may grow old in the groundand its stump die in the soil, yet at the scent of water it will budand put forth shoots like a plant. ”

AT THE SCENT OF WATER!!! It will sprout again!! Are you desiring to know God in a deeper way? Do you want to know and feel His presence? All you need to do is SHAKE OFF literally the burdens and heaviness you feel. Ask forgiveness and Thank Him for the freedom He paid for on the cross then Receive His love, peace and freedom. One thing I said this morning, to intercessors out there who are carrying burdens that are not theirs. Don’t get God’s burdens confused with your passionate emotions. For Jesus said, “my yoke is easy and my burden is light . Take my yoke upon you and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your soul! RECEIVE YOUR FREEDOM TODAY!

Love In Action: Fred Meyer God Encounter

After church, I was still overwhelmed by the presence and glory of God 3 hours later. I could hardly walk let alone carry on a quick conversation! Got to love it when that happens. BUT, the best thing that happened was going into Fred Meyer to get some groceries. It has been almost a year since I took a step of faith like I did except this time I was so soaked with God that it didn’t take any effort, nor did I have any doubt or fear.

As I walked around the store I was singing a few worship songs. I didn’t care who heard me. Then as I approached the checkout line, as soon as I looked at the young lady God told me loud and clear that He wants to heal one of her relatives. The girl asked me how my day was. Haha, I told her I just had the most incredible day of my life. And that at I saw Jesus loving on people. I told her as soon as I looked at her God told me to ask if she had a relative who needed healing in their body. Her head shot up and with big eyes she said, YES, my Aunt, she has huge masses on her brain and they don’t know what they are or what is wrong with her.

So I told her that we have seen people who have been healed by God from Cancer, whose tumors have shrunk before our eyes. I told her God wants to do the same for her aunt. So with open eyes, I started thanking Jesus for making the tumors shrink and disappear and for there to be no trace of disease in her body. I thanked him for His love for her aunt and her. The girl stood there in shock looking at me and thanked me.I told her I would come back and look for her and see how her Aunt is doing, but that I know I will hear a good report! THANK YOU JESUS FOR HEALING THE AUNT. That was so much fun!

This only happened because I was just filled and willing to be a vessel. I haven’t done something like that in a few months because of the crazy
season of going back to work full time, running our business. Usually I would have the kids with me in the grocery store and I would almost make it a point to not look at people in the eyes so I wouldnt feel like talking to them. While at the same time, fighting to not loose my patience with 3 kids annoying each other!

More of it had to do with being FILLED to OVERFLOWING with Jesus and allowing that to spill God’s love on someone else. All it takes is us getting filled, which means taking time to worship Jesus and set our eyes on Him consistently during the day throughout the week, not just on Sunday’s. I LOVE feeling full and pouring it out, but it just takes pressing in. Which in reality TAKES THE STRESS OF THE DAY AWAY. Why would I not take time to be with Jesus? Why do I tell myself sometime that I don’t have time or I’m too stressed and just turn on a TV show. WHAT KIND OF STINKING THINKING IS THAT! haha. sorry preaching to myself.

Story Update!!!!

I found out last night that a close friend of mine is closely connected with the family of this girl!!!! The girl hasn’t wanted to go to church because her mother is in a homosexual relationship. But God loves them so much He pointed her out and showed His transforming love. IS God AMAZING OR WHAT!!! He answers people’s prayers in ways they would never imagine! hahaha. LOVE LIVING #NATURALLYSUPERNATURAL

How to change atmospheres

I’ve got some incredible news for you, if you ever feel intimidated or fearful of sharing the love of Christ with people in public, here is another way you can participate in shifting the atmosphere where ever you go. Pray and/or worship. Today as I was at Safeway there was an intense presence of God around. All I could do was worship singing songs that lifted up his name. One way to learn how to sing your own song to God is take the melody of the song that is playing in the store, and put your own words to it that glorify God. You could do it to scriptures you know or anything that glorifies Him. I was doing this as I was walking through the store, and the joy of the Lord filled me to overflowing. I couldn’t stop smiling and laughing. Even though I didn’t speak to anyone, the presence of God filled that store without a doubt and I know it shifted atmospheres.

I have such a burden to let everyone to know how easy it is, you don’t have to be an expert or have gone to Bible college or have been a Christian your whole life. It’s just walking in the spirit with Jesus wherever we go. #NaturallySupernatural
